Girls in Aodai

Girls in Aodai 2|

This photo was taken by Shumin Liu, a postgraduate student in the Department of Finance. It was taken on 2 Apr 2010 in Saigon, Vietnam.

It was a snapshot I took when several young girls walked towards and pass me, talking and laughing.  They represented the future of Vietnam and are becoming more and more westernized even though they still wore the traditional Aodai.  Generally, they gave off a feeling of elegance and hope.
