This photo was taken by Piangtawan Phanprasit, an undergraduate student in the International Relations Department, in Mae Hong Sorn, Thailand on 6th January 2010.
'This shot reminded a human being of how small she is compared with the bigger and longer-lasting beings like those ancient trees. And yet, it does not preclude the possibility that a small human being has the capacity to think, move and make a difference while other beings cannot.'
