'During our study trip in Istanbul, we spend some hours in Fener-Balat. This area - located in the historic peninsula - is going to be demolished by the Municipality to built hostels and malls. However, I think that this picture shows the vibrancy of the local market and the counter-productive impacts on such big projects on the local economy.'
