This photo was taken by Lorilee Evans, a MSc student in Media and Communications. This photo was taken at Exmouth Market, Islington on 2 February 2009 during the 'snow day.'
'Taken on a 'snow day', this photograph captures the playful side of my fellow students and friends. Although the meaning of the picture could not be further removed, I find this image curiously evocative of Eddie Adams' work (if such a comparison can ever be forgiven) in terms of capturing the movement and emotions of its subjects. The sheer joy of playing with snow is captured by the expression of the witness to the snowballing in the background. I think this is the best photograph that I have ever taken.'
The next contribution this month is Cambodian Child's Eyes.
