'This is a portrait of my 81 years old grandmother. Even though I grew up faraway from her and don't know much about her life, I can feel it through her serious, yet subtle expression. It's a huge task raising 7 kids in a remote countryside, in the midst of mountains, where the definition of comfort is a scarcity.'
