This photo was taken by Gemma Hillidge, an undergraduate student in the Mathematics Department . The photo was taken in Kos, Greece, September 2007.

'Near the harbour in Kos Town, Greece, I found this beautiful rock dove sheltering from the bright sun inside an alcove in the cliffs. It was was quite a bold bird and didn't mind being photographed.'
