'The rice terraces of Longji, Southern China are spectacular: layers of green rice shoots in summer, layers of golden rice in autumn, and layers of silvery frost in winter. The day I took this photograph, the terraces were being irrigated. The sun was coming up as the water was trickling down, illuminating the terraces perfectly.'
