This photo was taken by Katherine Igras, a Masters student in the department of International Relations studying MSc International Political Economy. The photo was taken at Antikabir, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's Mausoleum in Ankara, Turkey on Saturday, 14 April 2007.

'The photos were quickly shot amidst a protest against the Turkish Prime Minister. Although he is expected to be re-elected in May, some fear the PM possesses a hidden Islamist agenda. I took the photos in an attempt to preserve the exhilaration of political activists who were defending their democratic way of life.'
