'The picture was taken during fieldwork for a PhD in anthropology in an Asheninka (an indigenous Amazonian group) community on the Ucayali river in Central-eastern Peru. The picture shows an Asheninka man, Antonio, standing in a path that has been cut to roll out timber to a nearby stream.'
