'I think Indian cows are aesthetically beautiful, and I like the idea of them (along with the rest of "gods animals") wandering free around the city streets. This specific picture of a cow has an ad in the background for the cold drink Mirinda - which can be illustrative of modern-day India: the holy cow with a commercial halo. Furthermore, there is movement - the cow with Buddha-like eyes, is not idle or isolating itself from its surroundings. Spirituality and materialism are intertwined.'
