'Lim Sothea* faces eviction from the Tonle Bassac district of Phnom Penh for the second time. First expelled by the Khmer Rouge in 1979 he returned to his land only to be evicted once again by the regime of Prime Minister Hun Sen, himself a former Khmer Rouge commander. Here he waits in the ruins of his home as the paramilitary police destroy the district. Shortly after this photograph was taken he was exiled to a refugee camp in the countryside. (*pseudonym at individuals request).'
