I was in Jaisalmer for three days in April, in 42 degree heat, so spent a lot of time in the shade on this rooftop, looking out over Jaisalmer Fort. This chair - which is partly made from reused bicycle tyres - typifies the impressive ingenuity and lack of waste that I saw all over Rajastan.
