The Slovenian currency is the Slovenian Tolar however all prices are also given in Euros. This is because Slovenia joined ERM II on 28 June 2004 and will be allowed to introduce the Euro on 1 January 2007 provided that it complies with all five Maastricht convergence criteria. Even apples in the market are priced in both currencies.
