"After a week of trekking in monsoon, we finally made the ascent to Gokyori. We set off before dawn and didn't even expect to be able to see Shagarmatha. This view made the hard climb worth it and the altitude gave a new meaning to breathtaking views. It is a small step in explaining how amazing it all was - but nothing to actually being there."
