This photo was taken by Yun Hwan Lee, an undergraduate student in the Economics Department. The photo was taken near Bankside House, one of LSE's student residential halls.
'The picture was taken in 2004 on the street just behind Bankside House when I was a resident of the hall. I was playing around with my then new film camera and trying out a panning technique that I had come across from a photographic website. The cyclist was, by pure luck, captured through the windows of a black cab, which was travelling the opposite direction. It is one of my personal favourites.'
