In relation to the LSE Summer School and consistent with any strategy determined from time to time by the Ancillary Programmes Board.
1. To determine future direction and strategy, including forward financial planning and target setting
2. To monitor current financial and academic performance, including through use of appropriate performance indicators
3. To ensure the Summer School meets all the requirements of the School in respect of quality assurance and control
4. To consider operational issues that may arise, including in the relations between the Summer School Office and academic departments or administrative divisions in the School
5. To approve the terms of office and scheme of payment of academic directors and of the Summer School Convenor, and the appointment of the Summer School Convenor
6. To appoint external examiners for the Summer School
7. To conduct any other relevant business remitted to it by the Ancillary Programmes Board, the Academic Board or any of its committees.
8. To submit an annual report to the Ancillary Programmes Board.
