Decision-making timeframe
Applications can be submitted to research.ethics@lse.ac.uk at any time. The maximum period for providing an approval under Chair's action should be within 4 weeks of an application being received, but in most circumstances it is hoped that this could be achieved within 10 working days.
Where a Research Ethics Review is referred for consideration by the full Research Ethics Committee, the maximum period for providing a decision should be within 3 months of an application being received, but in most circumstances it is hoped that this could be achieved within 4‐6 weeks.
