1 The post of Chair should normally be filled by a Lay Governor on Council. Due to exceptional circumstances the Nominations Committee agreed at its meeting on 2 February 2016 that the existing Chair, who was a Lay Member of Council until 31 July 2016, should continue in post for 2 further years.
