General student talks

The LSE Fees Office will be offering a series of presentations during September which will introduce students to the services we offer. The presentations will be complimented by a short question and answer session.

Topics to be addressed include:

  • Payment Plans
  • How to Pay & When to pay
  • Understanding your LSE for You Statement
  • Fees initiatives
  • Early payment reward
  • Loans

Please note these presentation will not cover US Direct lending, there will be separate presentations offered on this topic.

US Federal Loan awareness sessions

The LSE Fees Office will be offering a series of presentations which will introduce students to key information they need to know about US Federal loans.

The presentation will last for an average of 30 - 45 minutes followed by a short question and answer session. If you are interested why not book a ticket now.

  • Your loans: Rights and responsibilities

  • Understanding your LSE for You Statement

Welcome week: Extended Advice Services

The Fees Office will be based within the Student Services Centre from 19th September to 30th September inclusive.

We will be available to see students from 10.00 - 16.00.

Services offered during registration:

  • Award cheques: You will receive an email advising you when your cheque is available to collect, please remember to bring your award letter and student ID card.
  • US Loan cheques: You will receive an email from the Fees Office advising you that the first disbursement of your US loan cheque is available for collection, please note your fees and accommodation (if residing in an LSE residence) will be deducted first. Please remember to bring your student ID card,
  • Paying Fees: Please note the Fees Office does not process payments, if you would like to pay your fees by credit or debit card please log into LSE for You. If you would like to pay by cheque you can either call into the Student Services Centre and drop your cheque in our drop box alternatively you can post it.
  • Documents and forms to be signed: Please note these documents will not be completed at the counter.
  • Information leaflets: The fees Office have produced a series of leaflets which answer common questions, you can collect a copy from the Student Services Centre or download a copy here: At a Glance Leaflets

Please note: The Fees Office are unable to take calls during this period as we will be based within the Student Services Centre If your query is urgent please visit the team in the Student Services Centre or email fees@lse.ac.uk.
