What is a sponsor?
A sponsor is not a relative or a friend but is an organisation (including charities) that will be paying all or part of a student’s tuition fee directly to the School.
Please note the following:
-
If your sponsor pays YOU and then you pay us, the School will class you are self-financed.
-
If your sponsor pays you, then you will pay us and you completed your FUF as “sponsored”, please tell us (FUF = financial undertaking form)
-
Invoices are sent to sponsors in November and they have 30 days to pay from when they receive their bill.
-
Sponsors are sent reminders if they do not pay within 30 days.
-
If your sponsor is paying part of your year’s tuition fee, you can pay your portion in full or by 3 equal instalments by our deadline dates. (we need to add info for other students eg execs).
-
If you pay and are later sponsored, we will refund you.
-
Fee payment is ultimately the responsibility of the student if the sponsor does not pay.
We need the following details from students (or sponsors) so that your sponsors can be billed:
-
contact name
-
sponsor name
-
the address for the invoice to be sent to including area code and country if outside the UK
-
a contact email address
-
their telephone number
-
the period they will be paying for
-
confirmation of how much they are going to pay
Further information:
-
Please also note that sponsors do not benefit from any discounts or rewards and neither can they pay by instalments, the are required to pay in full.
-
Late sponsorship accepted. Just email the sponsor details to us via the below link: Updating my FUF
-
Sponsor overpayments can only be refunded to the sponsor
-
We will continue to chase unpaid sponsor invoices but please note that if they still do not pay despite this, we will ultimately require the student to settle the account.
