Cartography

Mina our Head of Cartography has a strong background in cartography having worked on some very complex maps. We are able to produce 3D graphics/ maps and diagrams. Please contact us if you would like some cartography work done.

Corporate identity and branding

We have worked on a number of visual identities. Some examples are in the design unit portfolio. Also see logos|.

Creative advice and solutions

We are happy to advise whether it be on how to use the LSE logo within your departments literature or to discuss your design requirements.

Display stands

We design and advise on display stands systems. These are useful for fairs or as eye-catching backdrops to presentations. Please contact us if you are interested in having a banner/ display system produced.

Exhibition design

Rory Morrison has a strong background in exhibition design, he worked on the LSE exhibition in the Atrium. Please contact us if you are considering producing an exhibition and we can discuss your options.

Flyers

We produce a myriad of flyers, postcards and leaflets that can be printed in-house or by external printers depending on your requirements. Please contact us if you would like to have a flyer produced.

iPad Apps

We have designed and produced a number of iPad Apps for The Law Department Executive LLM Course|, Executive Summer School |and The Undergraduate Prospectus| in the Design Unit. Contact Claire or Jonathan who will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Image sourcing

We hold a wide selection of LSE images used within our design work. Some design jobs however need more specific imagery that we don't have, in these circumstances we can source images from external companies which can be brought on a 'rights-managed' basis (pay on each occasion the image is used) or on a 'royalty-free' basis (you pay once for the image and can use it any number of times).

Alternatively the School photographer - Nigel Stead - takes pictures of many LSE events and activities for LSE publications. There is a small charge for his services. Contact Nigel Stead n.stead@lse.ac.uk|

Illustration

We work on numerous illustrations - from watercolours to more modern illustrative techniques and technical drawing. Please contact us if you require an illustration or any information graphics.

Leaflets

We work on two main magazines in the design unit: the LSE Magazine and the CARR Magazine for the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation. If you would like to discuss producing a magazine please contact us.

We design posters to advertise conferences, courses, events, fairs, lectures and seminars. If you would like to discuss having a poster produced please contact us.

Print and production

We use a variety of printers and supplier's to produce our work. Our good relationships with suppliers ensure we receive excellent quality and value for money.

Promotional literature

You may wish to promote an event, a course or your department or centre. We can help by suggesting ways in which you may do this, as well as producing suitable design for the product and your audience. Please contact us should you wish to produce some promotional literature.
