Aims of the surveys
The School's teaching survey has the following aims:

To provide teachers with important information about the perceived quality of their teaching to highlight areas for improvement, and areas in which they are strong;

To provide students with an opportunity to tell the School what they think about teaching across the School so they can influence improvements in teaching. The surveys also allow students to reflect on their own learning experience.

To provide the Promotions and Review Committee with information about teaching standards;

To provide the School with a measure of the general teaching standards across the School;

To provide Council with Strategic Performance Indicators;

To provide the RAM database with summary teaching scores.
