Class/Seminar Surveys:
In most cases, teachers will receive in their pigeon holes a separate survey pack for each class/seminar group they teach on a course. So if you teach three classes on EC100, you should receive three packs - one for each group. However, the information we use to distribute survey packs can be imperfect. This means that the number of packs you receive might not correspond to the number of class/seminar groups you teach. It might even mean that you do not receive any packs at all. In these circumstances, please collect spare packs from your Departmental Office (your Departmental Manager can advise).
Lecture Surveys:
Lecture envelopes and questionnaires are ONLY available from your Departmental Office; we do not send out survey packs for lectures like we do for classes/seminars. This is due to the varying sizes of lectures - an individual lecturer will best know how many questionnaires s/he will need to survey a particular lecture.
Completing and Returning Surveys:
For class/seminar surveys, it is extremely important to return the questionnaires from each group in separate envelopes. Please do not combine the questionnaires from different groups in a single envelope. Doing so can compromise the integrity of the results and slow the process down considerably, leading, in particular, to delays in the distribution of comparative results (i.e. overall School and Departmental scores, against which teachers can compare their individual results).
For both surveys (i.e. class/seminar and lectures) it is also important to accurately and legibly provide the information requested by the box on the envelope (name, course, and - for class/seminar surveys - the group number). This information is used to 'attach' the results to the correct teacher.
