Funding, employment and bursary opportunities


The British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) scholarships competition is now open! All women studying for doctorates at British universities are eligible, with awards usually between £2,500 and £6,000. Click link| for more details!

Researcher Development Fund

LSE's Researcher Development Fund supports student- and staff-led initiatives in the area of professional development for early career researchers (PhD students and postdocs).

Projects seeking support from this fund should have a clear training or development aim focusing on one or more of the following areas: research management; communication skills; networking and team working; and career management and development. The main beneficiaries must be research students or research staff.

Fees Office

The School's Fees Office| handles everything to do with student finances, including tuition fees, US and Canadian loans and career development loans.

Financial Support Office

The Financial Support Office| is responsible for administering School funds and a variety of scholarships, studentships, prizes and awards.

Employment within LSE

LSE's Teaching and Learning Centre trains and supports Graduate Teaching Assistants and administers the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education qualification. If you are interested in teaching at the School, see our Graduate Teaching Assistants page|.

External employment opportunities
