Can you convey your research through a poster?
Posters are an increasingly popular way of illustrating research, and are often used at conferences and in print and online media to convey complex information succinctly.
If you submit a poster that illustrates your research findings, theories, models and ideas in a visually compelling way, and your poster is accepted into the exhibition, it will be:
printed (free of charge) and displayed at the Research Festival exhibition on 8 May 2014
uploaded to LSE open-access digital libraries (including LSE Research Online)
be automatically entered for the poster category prize at the Research Festival Exhibition
Posters will be judged by a panel of senior academics from LSE and the University of the Arts against the following criteria:
1. Organisation: How well is structure employed to organise text and images?
2. Presentation: Do graphics and/or use of colour enhance or detract from the message?
3. Use of evidence: Is the evidence robust and does it support the claims put forward?
4. Clarity: Are the arguments contained in the poster coherent? Are they clear to a general audience?
The deadline for submissions to the LSE Research Festival 2014 exhibition has now passed. Please check back for details on attending the exhibition.
