Ethics and policies

ODAR is committed to be as transparent in its dealings with donors, alumni, staff and students as possible. To facilitate this we endeavour to publicise all our policies to the LSE community.

Policies and statements

  • The School has drawn up procedures for the ethical screening of grants and donations, which were approved by Council on 19 June 2012. These procedures and the terms of reference for the Ethics (Grants and Donations) Panel can be found in the ethics section of the School website.
  • Donor Charter
  • The Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR) complies with the School's financial regulations. As specified under section C.15.4 in this document, ODAR has its own detailed financial procedures. It is also of note that under section C.17.5 of this document, gift agreements for donation fall under the category of non-standard contracts.
