Telling the China story: Media and Communications in a Turbulent Age
讲述中国故事:激变时代的媒体与传播
The 2015 LSE China Conference took place in Beijing on 18 August 2015.
The focus of the 2015 conference was on media and journalism in China. With its continued rise, China is now a regular "news item" for billions of people across the world, no matter which country they live in. This reflects China's greater global significant, particularly on economic and political matters. Equally now they are a myriad of voices and perspectives within China, reporting on China and a seemingly ever more volatile world. For the 2015 China Conference LSE academics were joined by media specialists and opinion shapers in China to discuss how China is reported on domestically and internationally.
