To access the School's IT facilities you must have one of the following:
LSE username and password
JANET Roaming logon credentials as provided by your home institution
Once connected to the network, you can access LSE resources such as LSE email account, personal file space (H: space), LSE printers, electronic Library resources, and free anti-virus and security tools.
Wireless network connection
The LSE wireless network covers most of the campus as well as the social and recreational areas in LSE halls of residence.
Wired network connection
The laptop plug-in points in the Library and CLM B.04 (Clement House) provide access to the LSE wired network on campus. Students can also activate their Internet connection from their study bedroom in LSE halls of residence.
When away from LSE you can still connect to LSE resources remotely, see Connecting to LSE resources.
The Windows default network settings should be correct for connection to the LSE network.
If you're unable to access the LSE website at www.lse.ac.uk, please check to ensure that your computer is configured to use DHCP.
