-
Click Wi-Fi. Make sure Wi-Fi is set to On
-
From the list of available wireless networks, click eduroam
-
In the window that appears enter the following:
EAP method: PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
Identity: Your LSE email address e.g. j.bloggs@lse.ac.uk
Password: Your LSE password
Click Connect
-
You will now be connected to eduroam.
Note: To disconnect from the eduroam wireless network, turn the wireless off
Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing problems connecting, you may need to remove any profiles you have used to previously access campus wireless before attempting to connect to eduroam.
Removing wireless profiles:
-
Go to Settings. Choose Wi-Fi
-
Click on eduroam and choose Forget
-
Repeat this for any other LSE wireless network profiles before attempting to reconnect to eduroam.
Some users have found that their device automatically connects to The Cloud WiFi network. The Cloud is for use by guests; all LSE staff and students should connect to eduroam. If you find that your device indicated that you are connected to the internet but that services are not working, please ensure you are connected to the eduroam network.
