Outlook freezes when I try to open it on campus, what do I do?

We have found several occasions when Outlook would not load, freezing on the startup screen. To fix this:

  • Go to your H:\drive (it's in My Computer from the desktop)
  • Delete the folder LSE_OL
  • Open the folder LSEsetup and delete the folders ol03 and 02k (or if only one is present, the one that you can see)
  • Log out and log back in again

This should fix the problem. If you still cannot access Outlook, try using web access (https://exchange.lse.ac.uk|) to see if your account is accessible that way. If it is still not working, please contact the IT Help Desk
