Configure Office 365 on iPhone via IMAP

Introduction

This guide is for students who wish to connect to LSE email on their iPhone via IMAP.

Configuration

1. Click on the Settings icon on your Home screen. Click on Mail, Contacts, Calendars
   
   
   
   
2. Click Add Account
   
   
3. Click Other
   
   
   
   
4. Click Add Mail Account
   
   
5. The New Account screen will appear. Enter your Name, LSE Email address and LSE password in the relevant fields. In Description, enter lse.ac.uk
   
   
   
   
   
6. Fill in the Incoming Mail Server details as follows:
   Host Name: outlook.office365.com
   Username: yourLSEusername@lse.ac.uk (where yourLSEusername is your LSE username)
   Password: your LSE password
7. Fill in the Outgoing Mail Server details as follows:
   Host Name: smtp.lse.ac.uk
   Username: your LSE username
   Password: your LSE password
   
   
8. Click Next. Your account will be verified.
9. The following screen will appear. Click On or Off depending on your preferences. Click Save and the acocunt will appear in your iPhone inbox.
