Outlook 2010
In most cases you should be prompted to enter your new password when you open the outlook client.
If you are not prompted and the connect subsequently fails

Go into control panel

Click on the mail or mail 32bit icon

If you have more than one profile click on profiles and select your LSE profile and go to properties

Click on Email accounts
-
You will be prompted to enter your new password
(do check that your username follows the convention LSE\yourusername)
Outlook 2007

On the Tools menu click Account Settings
-
Select the email account you want to change and then click Change
-
Under Logon Information, in the Password box, type in the new password
Outlook 2003
-
On the Tools menu click Account Settings

Select View or Change existing Accounts
-
Select the email account you want to change and then click Change

Under Logon Information, in the Password box, type in the new password
Mac and Macbook
Mac Mail

Run the application and in the menu bar click Mail/Preferences.

Click on the Accounts tab to bring it forward.

Enter your password in the relevant field.

In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) dropdown select Edit SMTP Server List

In the window that opens click the Advanced tab and change the password.

Closing the window will open a new window with a Save button which you will need to select.
MS Entourage 2008

Run the application and go to Tools\Accounts and double click the relevant account.

Ensure that the Account Settings tab is selected and change the password in the relevant field.
MS Outlook 2011

Run the application and go to Tools\Accounts.

Under Server Information change the password.

Click More Options and change the password for the SMTP server
Iphone and ipad

From the Home screen, click Settings
-
Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars
-
Under Accounts, click your LSE email account (if you can’t see it, click on Exchange, and then you should see your LSE email account)

In the Exchange (or IMAP) section, click Account
-
Click Password
-
Enter your new password
IMAP/POP accounts only:
Scroll down and click SMTP
Click smtp.lse.ac.uk
Click Password
Enter your new password

Click Done
-
Press the Home button to go back to the main screen where you can select Mail to synchronise your email account
Android
-
Go to Settings | Accounts & Sync
-
Select Exchange Active Sync
-
Enter your new password and click Done
Blackberry
-
On the Home screen, click Remote Device Management.
-
Click the user.
-
Click Manage Email Passwords.
-
Click the email address.
-
Type the email account password.
-
Press the Enter key.
-
Click OK.
