This is a 130 seat venue; however the area at the front of the theatre is not very large. The amount of space is suitable for 2 speakers, more than this can be crowded and provide acoustic challenges if they are softly spoken.
Please note that support outside the hours of 08.30-18.00 must be pre-arranged and may require funding. However not all events necessarily require a technician present.
2 XLR cables for wired microphones can be run across the front of the theatre (These wired microphones are table microphones that give some amplification but are mainly for recording purposes – NOT suitable for speakers who are softly spoken)
Lectern microphone fixed onto the teaching table.
Normally 2 handheld, 2 lapel (can be changed if prearranged)
It is recommended that all of these are only used if attended by a technician.
1 fixed standard definition camera
Automated podcasting and lecture capture system (scheduled upon request)
Hard of Hearing system:
Wired induction loop, requires standard hearing aid, set to T-loop position
