Usage of Teaching Rooms

If student societies are looking to use space in the School for physical type activities such as dancing, drama/performance rehearsals, sports or exercise these should ideally be booked into the suitable spaces like the Old Gym, the Badminton Court or Parish Hall. These venues can all be booked via the Students Union, the schedule can be found at LSE Students Union Facilities|, if you have queries about these venues of wish to book any of them email i.t.pullar@lse.ac.uk|.

Where it's not possible for these venues to be booked, the School has for this academic year (2014-15) block booked out several teaching rooms out as additional spaces for this sort of activity. It should always be remembered that the primary purpose of these rooms is for teaching, and they are not ideally suited for the types of physical activity described above.

Please note however that furniture in rooms should never be moved into corridors, as this can block fire exits for the building as a whole rooms should be returned to their default setting by the room user by the time their room booking has ended. Any room users found not to have complied with these rules will have their room booking privileges removed.
