SU Society Meeting Request Form

Student Societies need to complete this form in order to request a room for their first meeting of the 2013/14 academic year if they do not already have their officers in place for the coming academic year. If they have their officers in place for the 2013/14 academic year they can complete the room booking agreement form, which will get them room booking privileges.

The conference and events office will process these requests as soon as rooms are released to them by the timetables office once the schedule for academic teaching has been completed which will be in the late summer.

Once societies have held their first meeting, registered with the Students Union, and completed the room booking agreement form then the 3 nominated officers of the society will be set up on the room booking system and given room booking privileges. The completed room booking agreement form needs to be taken to Heather Carroll in the Students Union who will sign it off and will deliver it to the conference and events office. Once its been received by the conference and events office we will set up the 3 nominated officers with room booking privileges.

Until societies have registered after their first meeting and been set up to use the room booking system then they are not permitted or able to make any further bookings.
