LSE Annual Fund 2016/17
The LSE Annual Fund, the School’s regular giving programme, raises unrestricted funds from alumni and friends for the discretionary use of the School. Raised funds support the changing needs of the School, and strategic priorities and projects that might not otherwise receive funding for students and faculty. Donations received help provide financial support to students through scholarships and bursaries, develop world class facilities, transform the student experience and enhance teaching and research initiatives.
Last academic year 87 student-led projects were granted funding through the Annual Fund improving the student experience at LSE ranging from sports and arts to cultural and subject-specific society conferences.Applications for funding from the Annual Fund for current LSE students are administered by the LSE Students’ Union.
Applications for funding run twice every academic year - once in Michaelmas Term, and again at the beginning of Lent Term. Details of this application process can be found at http://www.lsesu.com/annualfund/ and the SU will be taking student life applications from Michaelmas term 2016.
