LSE Advancement works closely with volunteers who run international alumni groups or networks in over 80 countries or regions around the world. Alumni are always keen to meet with LSE staff and academics when they are travelling abroad. If you are interested in connecting with our alumni groups, please first get in touch with a member of the Alumni Relations team at alumni@lse.ac.uk who will be able to help you.
To help facilitate meetings with alumni, LSE Advancement and the Academic Partnerships Office also have the Linking Up initiative, a fund to support academics who engage in external relations activities whilst travelling. All LSE academic staff are eligible to apply.
Linking Up Initiative
Past Linking Up activities have included meeting and speaking to alumni, policymakers, foreign media and donors. All proposals which would raise the profile of LSE and its work externally are considered. To find out more and apply for funding visit Linking Up Initiative.
