The Alumni Relations team is able to assist departments that wish to engage with their alumni community, inviting them to reconnect with the department and the School. We are able to advise on ways you may wish to reach your alumni and involve them in your growing community of alumni and students.
Some of the ways you may wish to reach out to your alumni
Newsletters – update your alumni with what's been happening in your department, inform them of events and staff changes as well as developments in departmental research.
Public lectures – an ideal opportunity for departments to invite alumni along and let them know about forthcoming events. We would also recommend holding a pre- or post-event drinks reception to encourage engagement and facilitate networking.
Events – a great way to keep in touch with your alumni is through events such as receptions, dinners and lectures. We are able to facilitate online registration and promotion though the online alumni community, Houghton Street Online, and our email marketing tool.
Mentoring – encourage your alumni to share their expertise and experience by becoming mentors, enabling them to give back to alumni and student body.
Alumni groups – encourage your alumni to join our international or special interest alumni groups where they will be able to network with fellow LSE alumni as well as be involved in departmental and student activity.
