Why did you choose LSE, and why did you choose your programme of study?

Wanted to deepen my knowledge of the human psyche in social situation, and LSE had a great reputation in that.

Overall, how do you look back on your LSE experience?

For me, the program could have been more rigorous in parts. However, I immensely enjoyed the overall LSE experience - in particular the lecture series.

How did MSc Organisational Psychology, as well as your previous experience, aid your career?

I started as a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble, working on brands such as Pantene and Wella. After my degree at LSE I leveraged my degree and my marketing experience to join a consultancy firm, helping leading companies build strong brands that resonate with consumers.

Why did you choose your current job?

The challenge of solving business problems to leading companies, coupled with the familiar atmosphere of a small firm.

What does your current role involve?

I am a Client Director in a brand consultancy firm in Stockholm. We work with leading companies, both in Sweden and internationally. I lead teams of consultants and analysts in solving business cases for our clients, mostly related to brands. For example, teams I lead helped define the global brand strategy for a telecom company, and a social responsibility for a leading global whiskey brand.

What advice do you have for LSE students who are looking to enter a similar profession to you?

Always stay on top of new developments in whatever industry you are interested in. Stay curious, and learn what are the best and most trusted sources of information you should keep up with.
