Tell us about your current job

I work at Macquarie to service clients on behalf of AT&T to manage network change management for Americas and EMEA regions. My daily work involves meetings with clients, working with various teams globally to ensure successful implementations of network changes, trading, MFG and FICC.

Why did you choose this job?

I choose this job for three reason; my financial industry interest and skills, great team and customer base, and New York City!

What do you like most about your job? Is there anything that you dislike?

I don't dislike anything about my job. I love my job; I am excited to come to work daily! Home is boring for me! Work culture, my boss and team members are so great, that I have never experienced at this level of a professional career and it has a friendly environment which few other financial firms have had in the past. Everything is great and I simply love it!

What career plans do you have for the future?

I want to continue working in a financial firm in technology management and one day I wish to be Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 20-30 years.

Thinking back, why did you choose your degree subject and why did you choose LSE?

I always had interest in the Management side of technology; I found MSc ADMIS from Google. I decided to study at LSE because of its reputation in the world as a global school.

How has your time at LSE helped you so far in your career?

I was very engaged and active in multiple activities on-campus life. My interest was to learn more and more about global perspectives on various issues through the public events. I have high political interest in my hometown in India. LSE has helped me gained a global perspective.

What advice would you give to prospective or current LSE students?

Do not limit yourself to 1-2-3 things, LSE has tons of things to learn and explore on campus. Cash the brand LSE as much as you can! Be ready for intense exams and fun while preparing hard 24 hrs a day in LSE library!

Overall, how do you look back on your LSE experience?

Transformative, challenging, exhausting, intense, overwhelming, incredible, inspiring, diverse, unique, and an amazing experience at LSE! I miss being at LSE and attending the world leader public events!
