Why did you choose LSE?

I chose LSE due to its outstanding reputation, cosmopolitan environment and interesting subjects.

Overall, how do you look back on your LSE experience?

I am grateful for the time spent at LSE and the career opportunities it provided. When people hear I went to LSE they always ask how I got in.

What did you do after graduating from LSE?

I have started working in banking right after LSE and focused on working within Global Markets, as a regulatory analyst.

Why did you choose your current job?

I always had an interest in the regulations that are being developed in the derivatives space and this role provided the knowledge I wanted to obtain

What is your current job, and what does it involve?

I am a regulatory analyst which involves interpreting the regulation issued by regulators globally, understanding and explaining the impact to the business. Additionally, I aid our lobbying efforts by liaising with the regulators and trying to minimize the operational difficulties caused by the regulations.

What advice do you have for LSE students who are looking to enter a similar profession to you?

Given my role involves having a passion for research and analysis, I would suggest demonstrating this by taking courses such as History to develop these skills.
