Internships are a good way to gain experience in asset management. Not only will you gain an understanding of the day to day roles, but you will make essential contacts and may even be fast tracked to their graduate training scheme. Apply for a banking internship for experience in the sector - applications normally close in December or January each year for the summer vacation.
