LSE China and Hong Kong Careers Fairs 2016

LSE Careers is once again collaborating with Imperial College London and Cambridge University to bring you Careers Fairs in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

This year we are also delighted to welcome students from Harvard, MIT and Columbia universities.

Last year’s fairs proved very successful with several LSE attendees obtaining placements and job offers as a result of attending the events.

What happens at the fairs

Do your research

Research the employers online prior to attending the fair. It’s an opportunity for you to find out about the employer, roles available and the recruitment process. Employers will expect you to have done a little research on their organisation to make the most of the opportunity.

Vacancies on offer

The majority of employers are recruiting for full time graduate positions that start in the autumn of 2017. Others have immediate roles. Some employers will also be recruiting summer interns for summer 2017.

Will organisations be holding job interviews at the fairs?

Organisations won't be holding formal interviews at the Fairs. However, at past fairs some organisations have held informal discussions so come prepared. If an employer wishes to invite you to interview they will contact you directly.

Please note

You will be responsible for your own transport and accommodation in China at the time of the fairs. Although we try to ensure that no last-minute changes will occur with these events, we cannot guarantee this and therefore you are strongly advised to take out insurance. We cannot be held responsible for any changes or cancellation of the fairs.

Once you have submitted your application for the fair, we expect that you attend. If you do not turn up at an event you have said you will attend, you may also deprive another student of a place.
