LSE Careers brochure
The annual LSE Careers service guide (pdf) is the best place to start for an overview of what services we offer at LSE Careers.
Once you have registered at LSE at the start of term you will be able to use our services for LSE students.
We offer LSE students one-to-one careers dicsussions and CV/cover letter discussions with careers consultants, which are available on a daily basis.
Throughout the year we run careers fairs, seminars, conferences and presentations, details of which can be found at careers events.
Use LSE CareerHub to book appointments and events, search jobs and opportunities and register to receive regular updates and alerts.
We also develop and curate a wide range of resources to help you research different careers and succeed in your applications. As a student you have access to the books and take away brochures and leaflets in our resource centre on the 5th Floor of the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre, and extensive online resources on our website, our bookmarks on Delicious, the LSE Careers blog and YouTube channel.
Developing skills & experience
Through our careers seminars, the LSE Volunteer Centre and by sourcing part time jobs and internships exclusive to LSE Careers, we are here to help you with developing employability skills.
You are eligible to the same LSE Careers services as students for up to two years after you have completed your course at LSE. For details on the services we offer to alumni please see our information for alumni.
Prospective students and applicants
Prospective students and LSE applicants (even successful applicants) are not entitled to use our services for students. However most of our website, our bookmarks on Diigo, the LSE Careers blog and YouTube channel are all open access, so you are welcome to have a look at the information on offer here and start your careers research early.
Graduate Destinations contains information on what LSE students go on to do when they've graduated and provides salary, job or study details per LSE department, a well as a range of LSE alumni profiles.
The Employer Engagement Team at LSE work with employers to provide a wide variety of services and events.
