International Relations Department Videos

The Department of International Relations has created a number of videos to help you find out more about our MSc programmes and individual courses.

You can also watch all the videos as a YouTube playlist here and on iTunes U or on the LSE IR audio and video channel.

Featuring academics from the International Relations Department at the LSE, ‘International Relations: an introduction’ is a 10-minute film about the study of international relations, particularly at the LSE. The film looks at what we study, and why, and also at major themes and how to approach them, and debates Star Trek and whether there will ever be world peace.

In this introductory video the Departmental Tutor Dr Peter Wilson answers a number of questions about the BSc IR programme and what is special about it.

In these videos the Programme Directors answer a number of questions about their MSc degree programmes and what is special about them.

In this video, the Deputy Head of Department for Teaching and Learning talks about the MPhil/PhD International Relations programme.

In these short videos, MSc Course Co-ordinators give a taste of their individual courses and the kind of issues that will be explored on them.

Please note not all courses will be running every year.  Please check here for availability.
