Regulating Nanotechnologies in the EU and US (2008-09)

This EU-funded project was a collaboration between LSE and Chatham House in the UK and the Environmental Law Institute and the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the US. It examined emerging regulatory approaches to nanotechnology regulation in the EU and US, with a focus on chemicals, food and cosmetics. The project culminated in an international conference and the publication of a major report on transatlantic nanotechnology regulation. Further information and downloads of the report as well as other briefing papers are available here.
