Dr Laurent Warlouzet, Marie Curie Fellow

Research and Recent Publications

Laurent Warlouzet is a Marie Curie post-doctoral researcher in 2012-2014. A lecturer at the University of Artois (Arras, France), and a former Jean Monnet fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, he specializes in European Integration History. He has taught in Sciences-Po Paris and in HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) France.

His research project deals with European economic integration and the crisis of the 1970s. His case-studies are France, the UK and Germany, and he is particularly interested in the fields of Competition Policy and Industrial Policy. Among his recent publications are an article entitled "De Gaulle as a Father of Europe"| and an article on European Competition Policy 1950-1991|.

He has co-edited two books, one textbook on European integration history, and his Phd: Le choix de la CEE par la France. L'Europe économique en débat de Mendès France à de Gaulle (1955-1969), Paris, IGPDE-CHEFF, 2011.
