**These are extremely popular programmes. We often fill the programmes by January/February (for October start), so we advise you to submit applications in October-December if possible.
We also offer six additional degrees jointly with other departments and institutes.
**Please note that queries about the joint degree programmes should be addressed to the other host department which is responsible for administration and not to International Development.
The department has established a vibrant research students' programme with students employing a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches to research across Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. The MRes programme is designed to both train students in a common academic heritage and to provide significant flexibility to develop advanced methodological and theoretical skills within disciplinary specialisms appropriate to their research interests.
