Research projects

Individual research projects 

The NGPA programme encourages international  comparative work. Whilst some projects will consider general international and global issues, others will also focus on work in particular countries.  Individual research projects are listed in two ways with links to further information, as follows: 

Director's project

The ESRC NGPA research programme allows the director to apply for a research grant under the programme up to a capped amount of £100,000. This grant is not automatic and is subject to a separate external reviewing process. Jude Howell's project has been approved and is entitled:  The 'Global War on Terror': non-governmental public action and aid|.

Project outputs

Though most of the projects are still on-going, the programme has already produced some exciting findings and  publications. Project findings are listed in two ways:
