The Programme for African Leadership is an extra-curricular leadership-focused programme available exclusively to graduate students of sub-Saharan nationality currently studying at the School. The bespoke programme consists of activities and events throughout the academic year that aim to educate, challenge and inspire students and to provide an opportunity for them to reflect on their own development as future leaders of African organisations and communities.
Regular social events develop and strengthen new friendships amongst the group, and every student who completes the programme is invited to join the wider PfAL Network and attend future Africa Fora. Students who complete the programme are also presented with a certificate at the final PfAL event in June each year.
